Latest newsBridging the Gap, an Environmental Organization in Kansas City, conferred an Environmental Excellence Award to Ben Kjelshus at their awards ceremony last night. The article that appeared in the Kansas City Star this morning said this about Ben, "Ben Kjelshus, 85, of Kansas City, won the environmental excellence award for individuals. Kjelshus has been a driving force in organizing a sustainable food community, the judges wrote. He founded the Kansas City Food Circle and co-founded the Kansas City Green Party."
